Simone Rede has collected over 300 small donations to her campaign for City Auditor. She can now apply for certification under the City’s Small Donor Election program. Her team asked the program to assess the donations this morning.
The program encourages candidates to ask for an assessment before applying for certification to verify the number of matchable contributions. Participating candidates most prove they have broad community support by collecting hundreds of small contributions from Portlanders to get certified as matchable.
